The war being waged by the Putin regime against the people of Ukraine continues to rage on. On this edition of Free Culture Radio we’re going to look at the impact of that war on people in Ukraine who use drugs. The European Monitoring Centre on Drugs and Drug Addiction held a webinar on December 14 entitled “Displaced people and EU preparedness and response — lessons from Ukraine.” We hear from some of the participants including Kostyantyn Dumchev, MD, MPH, Scientific Director at the Ukrainian Institute on Public Health Policy; Ganna Dovbakh, Executive Director of the Eurasian Harm Reduction Association; and Jane Mounteney, EMCDDA Head of Unit, Public health.
